After egg deposition, they need to be taken out of the terrarium as soon as possible. During removal one has to be very careful and a change of position (through turning) should be avoided.

The eggs are to be put into a see through, tightly closed plastic container, which is half filled with moist substratum. There the eggs are buried up to two thirds. As breeding substrate Perlite or Vermiculite is best suited.

After placement, the plastic container is to be put into an incubator. The eggs are bred at 25 – 26°C. Checking the moisture and the state of the eggs regularly is extremely important. Mouldy or shrunken eggs either died off or are unfertilized and have to be removed.

Now you have to be patient. After 160 – 360 days the babies will hatch.
